The Basic Options screen will appear. Each of the drop-down lists on this screen contains variables you can select and change to suit your specific loan scenario. For instance, you can choose to search all available lenders for your company, or you narrow your search to a single lender.

 

Select the area where your subject property is located from the Region menu.

Make other search choices by selecting different options from the drop down menus on this screen. If you don’t change your selections, Loan Search will use the defaulted settings.

In the below example, changing the loan amount from the $280,00 default to $250,000 resulted in the More Options box appearing so that the purchase price and appraised value data could be modified, ensuring the correct LTV was entered.

 

Note the Rates From and Points From fields. These values are the default values. Change these values to narrow your search according to your desired results.

The Loan Search Results screen will display all current pricing that meets your search criteria, sorted by either Best Price (as shown below) or by Best Rate as selected on the search screen.

 

To view the pricing details of a particular price result, click the program name in the row you wish to view.

To start a new loan application using these search results, type a loan number under the heading Ready to Continue?, then click on the line of pricing you'd like to use. The full 1003 will then open with the applicable fields pre-populated for you.
